- Students & Instructors are encouraged to read & review our AFAQs.
- Please review student incentives post successful Project completion.
Scope:
- Baselining current Grid Uptime against consumer demand
- Analyzing EV Grid Demand to predict Grid Uptime
- Assessing market potential to shift to EVs while replacing ICE's with least risk to Grid Uptime
- Including Solar Panel alternative for predicting Grid Uptime
- Implementing metrics to reflect net CFP associated with shift to EVs
- Evaluating Investment-Payoff Model for Grid Stakeholders
End Game: Simulate Grid Uptime for conventional power consumption, based on multiple factors such as: EV Density, Grid Capacity and other for overall CFP reduction.
**CFP => Carbon Foot Print
Learners will be simulating Grid uptime based on multiple factors involved with consumer shift from ICEs to EVs. At the very end they will have a simple mathematical model to demonstrate risk to Grid uptime across the nation's power infrastructure.
Tasks to be executed:
- Baseline current Grid Uptime against consumer demand
- Analyze EV Grid Demand to predict Grid Uptime
- Assess market potential to shift to EVs while replacing ICE's with least risk to Grid Uptime
- Include Solar Panel alternative for predicting Grid Uptime
- Implement metrics to reflect net CFP associated with shift to EVs
- Research existing viable non-fossil energy solutions to counteract risk to Grid uptime
- Evaluate Investment-Payoff Model for Grid Stakeholders
These are the activities that are needed to get done toward a math model predicting grid uptime with alternate sources of non-fossil fuels.
Team members at MGBS as well as "C" level executive per need.
Team and MGBS Inc. will decide frequency of meeting, length of meetings, effectiveness of meetings and most importantly escalation protocol of any issues coming from either side on a proactive and a constructive basis. Goal is to reduce meeting frequency and time and focus on meetings to celebrate milestone completion and lessons learned.
Top contributing factor for success is ability to escalate and collaboratively resolve to success and operate harmoniously as a TEAM.
About the company
As a business process improvement coach & consultant I worked with several corporations in different continents over 31 years. After a successful 6-year work experience at General Electric Corporation, I founded my company in 2000, and have been fortunate to successfully deliver in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, technology, transactional as well as service type environments. Having published scientific & technical articles, including authoring 5 US patents I released my book on Lean Six Sigma in 2011. I converse reasonably in Dutch, and Spanish, the skills of which I acquired during my consulting times. To date, the total annualized direct customer benefits have accrued to several hundreds of millions of dollars across the globe in more than 20 years. I enjoy outdoor activities, and meeting people. I am thankful to my mentor (s), past employers, and my professional network members without which most achievements would have been impossible.
