The partner company "CC" provides psychological counselling services in Alberta. The company is seeking to understand the compensation preferences of current and potential counsellors.

This project requires a Research Assistant to conduct a literature review and help develop a research method and approach for subsequent implementation by another research team and/or the partner company.

Deliverables

1) Conducting an appropriate literature review and preparing a summarizing document of findings.

2) Sourcing and reviewing compensation preference research methods and preparing a summarizing document of findings.

3) Preparing a draft survey (or similar instrument depending on #2)

4) Making a 30-minute presentation on the project activities and deliverables.

Mentorship

- Direct academic supervision and mentorship

- Available workspace on campus (hotel style) including desk and computer.

- Access to company partner for guidance and elaboration on research interests.
