An excellent intro into communicating and coordinating with a team. This has been quite a while back but working under Denise Davis-Gains really helped influenced how I work in a professional environment, especially one where feedback and solution-seeking in both cooperative and individual environments are imperative to succeeding on a business project/plan. Denise was kind, thoughtful, and very nurturing of our ideas and -in my case- giving me one-on-one pointers on both my self-confidence, articulation, and organizational skills.

I thought the communication was a little unorganized and I wasn't sure what our goal was but the project had potential.

Denise's passion for her work is thoroughly represented in her communications. She is adaptable and creative with her projects with the students.

Denise is super passionate about what she does and there's definitely a lot to learn from her! It was a pleasure working with her on this project; it gave me an opportunity to learn lots of about UX, UI and SEO principles and apply them practically while improving a website.

It was a great experience working with an experienced professional like Denise. Through this project, I improved my confidence in assisting projects, and my communication and organization skills. I learned Trello, and Slack which I haven't used before. Additionally, Denise tutored the right usage of these tools and provided meaningful feedback to help me prepare the supporting documentation.
