The project was well organised in terms of managing the structure, check-points, deliverables, and expectations of the consultancy project. Hybrid interactions offered the opportunity for valuable in-person meetings and online flexibility, with attention to confidentiality. The project was supported by an academic supervisor to the students, from start to finish, with attention to balancing SMART objectives for the students, and the business. For us, as the start-up that participated, this project offered important additional resources to review the market and present valuable opportunities and strategies, founded in academic rigor, critical thinking and analysis.

Mirela has always been clear and supportive in what is required at all times. When trying to support this programme and run a business it is really hard to balance the needs and priorities and between her and George i always felt guided but never harassed.

The experience of working with George and Mirela was excellent - they provide a rich blend of understanding the students and their needs and are respectful and understanding of the world of commerce and getting the balance right. I thoroughly enjoy working with them and they make the whole experience pleasurable and fun.

Working with the educators on this project was, overall, a great experience for Bird & Blend. From the initial scoping call to the final online presentation, there was clear communication throughout, quick responses to questions and clear expectations. We also really enjoyed meeting Dr Siantonas in person when he came with the students to our offices and he provided a very useful overview of what the students would be doing, ensuring the brief we created was suitable with a follow up description of their understanding which allowed us to clarify a few points about the brief. We were kept informed of progress and offered virtual meetings which was incredibly helpful and meant as many of us could attend as possible. It was great to be included in the feedback and scoring of the students' work and presentations. A really enjoyable experience, thank you!

The project run by the University of Sussex was extremely professional and the level of knowledge and depth of experience that the instructors was vast, having worked in the private sector for many years before working in academia. We felt that this really helped the students understand what our expectation was of their work and the best way in which to provide a high-level and comprehensive strategic plan to meet our business challenge.

We as Brovation were very satisfied with the whole project. The project was very well organised and the communication with the students and their supervisor was quick and efficient. The quality of the project itself was very high and of much value to our brand. We found the project especially useful to have been delivered by students as they better represent our target customer. We also found that communication with students if often easier as well. Besides, it was very useful to us to have an external group of students looking at our work and operations to get a different opinion and view of our brand. The oral group presentation delivered to us at the end of the project was great and helped us to understand the content even better. Overall, we feel very grateful to have been part of this project and are looking forward to implementing the students work and findings to our brand. We have already started doing that and can see that their work makes a difference and has the potential to benefit us a lot further.
