Mental Health Contract Application Development

The project aims to explore the landscape of government contracts related to mental health services in Canada and develop a competitive application for Phare, a mental health company. The primary goal is to identify current opportunities where Phare's services can align with government needs and create a compelling proposal. The project will involve researching existing contracts, understanding the criteria for successful applications, and leveraging Phare's strengths to craft a strategic application. This project will enable learners to apply their research and analytical skills, as well as their understanding of mental health policies, to real-world scenarios. The tasks are closely related and designed to be completed by a team of learners from a single academic program, such as public health or health administration.

Data Harmonization and Integration: Empowering Phare Counselling with an Automated Insights Dashboard

The high-level goal of this project is to successfully complete the data integration process for Jane, thus ensuring the successful functioning of the automated data dashboard. The deliverable will be a robust and dynamic data dashboard that consolidates data from both Freshsales and Jane, providing seamless updates for real-time insights. Addressing the existing challenge, students will collaborate with Phare Counselling's team, understanding the partial progress made in drawing data from Jane, and then help establish the missing connections. This will lead to a fully functional data dashboard that offers a comprehensive overview of key performance indicators (KPIs) with intuitive visualizations. The measure of accomplishment will be the successful presentation of data from Jane within the dashboard, alongside the existing data from Freshsales. The completed dashboard will allow stakeholders to monitor weekly metrics, revenue trends, conversion ratios, and client information for informed decision-making and continuous improvement. By addressing the data connection issue, this project will empower Phare Counselling to optimize operations, enhance service quality, and improve the overall client experience. Addressing content, the dashboard will encompass various visual representations of the data, such as charts, graphs, and tables, to aid in easy interpretation. The format will be an interactive web-based dashboard accessible through secure login credentials. The depth of the deliverable will encompass key operational and financial metrics to support strategic planning and decision-making. The successful completion of this project will be evident when Phare Counselling can efficiently draw and present data from both Freshsales and Jane in the automated dashboard, enabling data-driven insights for impactful improvements.

Phare - Marketing, Sales, Data Analysis

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: Phare is a mental health startup in the digital health services space with a fifteen-counsellor team and eighty clients and growing. Our core product is a marketplace dedicated to an ideal fit between clients with counsellors. Our team has been serving paying clients in need of therapy for more than a year (since June 2020), during which our team has been testing, validating and invalidating hypotheses about its customers on both sides--clients and counsellors--of its marketplace. Our culture is one of wanting to make an impact around mental health, especially for students. If you join Phare, we want you to know that you will be bringing your whole being to working with us, not just the parts of you that are "relevant" on a list of bullet points on a job posting. We started Phare because we knew there was a huge need--and a huge demand--under COVID and the mental health effects that have been exacerbated until pandemic will have a ripple effect for a long time to come. So you and others who join us will be working on some of the greatest problems that inspired us to start Phare in the first place.
