Bio

My name is Layla Ahmed, and I am currently seeking a role in the medical communications industry. I graduated from the University of Toronto with an HBSc double majoring in Molecular Genetics and Neuroscience, and I am continuing my education there as a Masters student in Medical Science. During my undergrad, I established my passion for research and outreach by participating in research programs in all 4 years of my program, while also participating and heading multiple clubs on campus. My research has also allowed me to build my science communication skills by allowing me to present at multiple conferences, both in person and virtually. It is due to these experiences that I learned about the medical communications industry, and discovered that I was eager to pursue this path as a potential career after graduation. If you've come across my profile, I would love to connect and learn more about opportunities at your organization.
