We would like to use few datasets, based on our current projects, and leverage the latest technology to gain an advantage in our market. We would like to collaborate with students to apply the latest AI and machine learning techniques to our dataset to gather new insights that our organization can leverage. We would like a group of students to analyze datasets, apply AI, ML and data modelling techniques, and come up with some potential applications for how we can apply AI within our organization. This involves: Conduct background research on existing products, services, domains & dataset. Conduct research into the latest AI and ML techniques and how they could be applied to our data. Developing a ML / AI model which provides some sort of unique outcomes or insights into our data Devise models and algorithms to develop scalable solutions that can work in real-time with large amounts of data. Web & Algorithm Development Intern

The students would need to help the rest of our development team complete and refine our current website and algorithm. This will involve: Bug fixes Algorithm fixes Database implementation and monitoring Completion of the website on Wordpress Providing training on updating and maintaining the website Testing prototypes with existing customers and iterating based off of feedback

Community Event Planning

Our organization is committed to supporting the local disability community. However, we are currently facing challenges with manpower to create the vision for our second annual event - The Beyond Barriers Networking and Tradeshow, that will be held on September 21, 2024. We would like to collaborate with students to plan an event to help meet our goal of supporting and creating awareness for the disability community. The role takes a proactive approach to the planning, delivery, and administrative responsibilities necessary to support the tactical implementation of the event. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals. Estimating and establishing the budget of the event. Assisting in creating a plan of action and a detailed breakdown of tasks to complete at the event. Assisting in marketing and promoting our event. Assisting in the process of planning the event with other event team members from the volunteer event team. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending improvements for future events.
