We would like a student to help us with developing our Human Resources (HR) policy handbook that is aligned with our vision, mission, and values. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. In addition, we want to continue to uphold our supportive workplace culture. While developing the HR policy handbook, we are looking for a student to also offer suggestions, based on research of best practices in employee/contractor experience, to attract and retain top talent in a remote environment. The HR policy handbook is part of our operational improvement strategy to add value to our current and future employee/contractors. Students should be prepared to: Have conversations with team members to understand our existing human resources practices, determine their effectiveness and opportunities for improvement. Research human resources policies online along with best practices in implementing these policies in a remote work environment. Develop a human resources policy handbook that aligns with our organizational values and corporate culture. Assist with other human resources needs such as onboarding support such as new employee/contractor experience survey Identify key compelling aspects of working at Impact Plus to share our employee experience stories and help attract top talent. A student with excellent writing, human resources, and organizational skills would be the ideal candidate for this project. Additional skills needed: Interest or knowledge of labour/employment or human rights laws in Canada Strong problem-solving, analytical and research skills, and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to work with multiple internal or external stakeholders. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Contact us if you have any questions or concerns: info@impactplusconsulting.ca About the LEAP Project LEAP is a product design and marketing project intended to develop innovative products or services (e.g., online courses or trainings, leadership coaching) that complement our current strategy development and community engagement offerings to position organizations to thrive in a post-pandemic world. As a new start up seeking to tell our story and deliver greater social impact, we are looking for a student to develop and implement a 60-day digital content marketing plan (I.e., social media or blog posts, articles, etc.) to promote our current and emerging strategy and community engagement consulting services. The digital content plan will align with our thought leadership strategy to add value to our current and future clients. Your roles and responsibilities To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Support with the development of a 60-day digital content plan to promote our current and emerging consulting products and services. Write blog articles, social media posts, website content and other content pieces on assigned topics Assist with a social media launch to promote our organization Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns or digital communications, preferably within our scope of consulting offerings and market. Identify web and media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.
