Challenge outline: We are interested in looking into providing a new service. Geospatial mapping is a technology that can be applied to many industries and we would like to explore market entry. We would like a competitor analysis done on other businesses that provide geospatial development services in the UK to help inform our business strategy. Key aims/objectives: 1) What industries are geospatial mapping competitors targeting? i.e. do the majority of our competitors offer general support or focus on a particular industry (e.g. construction) 2) Using the above research, provide a matric that shows the bran and the industry areas they cater for 3) Choosing the main competitors from this research (with help from the client), what products, price points, SEO and marketing strategies do these competitors have that work well?
