Insulin Interaction With The Body: Comic Book

The objective of this project is to create contents for our comic book which describes Type 2 diabetes, how insulin works on the body and how it might result in hypertension in older populations. Our aim is to communicate insulin's affect on the body from a patient centered perspective focusing on older adults while using simple language and including medical jargon only when necessary We would like to collaborate with students interested in healthcare to conduct literature reviews and interviews with health providers to help us build our comic booklet. The finalized version of this comic book will be shared via our newsletter, our social media page and our health mobile information team that we will be launching during the summer in 2023. Supporting the development of this infographic will involve: Conduct background research on Type 2 diabetes, Insulin and Insulin intersection with hypertension Reaching out to physician to interview them Write content for comic book
