Our company will be working in conjunction with the Applied Computer Education Project Space (ACE Project Space) at Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech). RRC Polytech is a learner-centred institution that places an emphasis on real-world experience and opportunities for students to take part in Work Integrated Learning (WIL). As part of the Applied Computer Education (ACE) department the ACE Project Space has been giving WIL experiences to students for the past 9 years. The ACE Project Space works with real-world clients to solve problems that will enhance their business. In the past ACE Project Space has worked with Government, not-for-profit organizations, established businesses and start-up companies. Solutions have been created for almost 100 unique clients and well over 100 unique projects have been completed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions all work for this practicum will be completed remotely. The project's supervisor will be Melloney Campbell. Problem or opportunity Based on the requirements created earlier, this project will concentrate on implementing features that were established in the requirements phase. Objective The goal of this project is to work towards delivering features that were agreed upon during the requirements phase. The expected deliverables to be delivered by the student(s) are as follows: · Features that give a baseline of functionality such as an authorization and authentication system. · Create proof of concept features established as part of requirements gathering that were defined as must have features · Creating basic interface design as established in the wireframes · Creating basic input/output functionality as established by the ERD for the must have features

Problem or opportunity The project scope and overall requirements of what is being built must be established before continuing on to the construction/build phase. Objective The goal of this project is to establish a clear set of requirements that is communicated to the client in order to establish a shared understanding of what is to be built by the project team. The expected deliverables to be delivered by the student(s) are as follows: · A RASCI chart to establish the accountabilities of the the team members · Wireframes of the solution to be produced · StoryMap outlining team tasks and project scope · Establish priority features that provide the highest level of business value · An Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) that establishes the entities in the database and relations between the entities · Potentially create proof of concept code to establish feasibility of the solution · Working in a consultation role with the team's business analyst a Project Charter will be created · Establishing an initial development environment based on the requirements

Problem or opportunity Based on the requirements created earlier, this project will concentrate on implementing features that were established in the requirements phase. Objective The goal of this project is to work towards delivering detailed features that were agreed upon during the requirements phase. The expected deliverables to be delivered by the student(s) are as follows: With the basic interfaces and and basic input output functionality established in an earlier phase, implement the business logic according to the needs of the client Meet with client to gain approval and incorporate additional feedback into the solution Create detailed application workflows based on the business logic established in the requirements phase Implement UX to meet the needs of the business logic Create any additional input/output functionality needed as discovered to implement a minimal viable product

Problem or opportunity Based on the implemented technical solution documentation will be produced to guide the transition to a client environment. Objective The goal of this project is to work towards delivering an implemented solution into a client environment, or documenting the environment for a future project team. The expected deliverables to be delivered by the student(s) are as follows: Training on the technical solution Documentation of the installation in a client environment (if appropriate) installation of the solution into the client production environment User manual Technical manual Implementation or transition document
