Our organization is interested in addressing societal issues and supporting social causes. However, we are currently facing funding challenges. We would like to collaborate with students to find and complete grant applications. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our vision statement and a project we have defined. Developing a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding. Identifying potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project (prospects research). Improving the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing. Developing a Case for Support and other fund development assets; such as expression of interest templates, value proposition statement, logic model, impact statements, grant budget template, infographics, etc. Writing multiple funding proposals addressed to corporate sponsors and other potential donors. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Identifying new opportunities for community projects.

Researching fundraising strategies of other nonprofits, when they were at a similar stage of development. Create a summary of their research findings and provide examples. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Assisting in implementing new fundraising activities.
Project Manager for Kickstarter Campaign
The main goal for the project is to plan and timeline a kickstarter campaign for Higgzfield Ltd. to raise funds for their educational entertainment for children and families. The project manager will be responsible for coordinating all messaging and graphics for the campaign to ensure its success. This will involve several different steps for the project manager, including: - Collaborating with the creative team to develop a compelling messaging strategy that effectively communicates the company's mission and goals. - Creating a detailed timeline for the kickstarter campaign, including key milestones and deadlines for messaging and graphics. - Overseeing the development of all campaign graphics, ensuring they align with the company's brand and resonate with the target audience. - Coordinating with the marketing team to ensure the messaging is consistent across all campaign materials and channels. - Monitoring the progress of the campaign and making adjustments to the timeline and messaging as needed.
Afri Future Tech Summit Fundraising Project
The main goal for the project is to secure grant funding and sponsorship for the Afri Future Tech Summit. This will involve several different steps for the team, including: - Researching potential grant opportunities and sponsorship programs. - Developing a compelling proposal outlining the summit's objectives, expected outcomes, and impact. - Identifying key stakeholders and potential sponsors to approach. - Creating a detailed budget and financial plan for the summit. - Crafting a strategic outreach and communication plan to engage potential funders and sponsors.
Community Event Planning
Our organization is committed to supporting the local disability community. However, we are currently facing challenges with manpower to create the vision for our second annual event - The Beyond Barriers Networking and Tradeshow, that will be held on September 21, 2024. We would like to collaborate with students to plan an event to help meet our goal of supporting and creating awareness for the disability community. The role takes a proactive approach to the planning, delivery, and administrative responsibilities necessary to support the tactical implementation of the event. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals. Estimating and establishing the budget of the event. Assisting in creating a plan of action and a detailed breakdown of tasks to complete at the event. Assisting in marketing and promoting our event. Assisting in the process of planning the event with other event team members from the volunteer event team. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending improvements for future events.
