Financial Business Plan

We are excited to be launching a new business, (name of business and brief description of what the company will do). With any launch, having a financial plan is one of the keys to success, and we would like to involve students in creating one for our new venture. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Learning about our business strategy from various employees to become familiar with our goals, mission, and products. Creating forecasts using Excel (or another financial software) for sales in the first year of operation as well as an income projection (conservative and aggressive). Working with our team to develop an expense budget. Conducting a break-even analysis timeline using financial projections. Reporting on projected assets and liabilities. Including visual comparisons such as graphs and charts to show the differences between the conservative and aggressive income projection.

Market Research

Our company advertises thousands of products online. We want to better understand our target market and the overall market, so we can uniquely position ourselves within our industry. We would like to collaborate with students to conduct market research. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s values, products and services. Researching our target market and market potential. Researching the industry and competitive landscape. Recommending strategies to improve our positioning, brand, products and services. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending strategies to differentiate ourselves from our competition.

Website Development

Our company aims at providing relevant information and generate client leads for Canadian Immigration. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more international and local clients. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through common site building tools as deemed suitable by the students. Our current webiste is hosted on wordpress and is very basic in terms of design. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

Social Media Marketing Campaign

We would like to work with students to design a new social media marketing campaign for our company. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, social media campaign goals and target market. Identifying social media channels and strategies suitable for our company. Planning types of campaign content to create for each channel. Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign. Creating a social media content calendar that outlines important steps in the campaign. ● Create a mid/long term social media plan ● Set up a social media calendar with a management tool ● Create compelling content ● Develop templates/guidelines for staff to efficiently produce content Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending social media management tools to schedule our content. Organizational Structural Configuration

This project will deal with detailed manuals for processing of each immigration stream, document checklist, eligibility criteria, method for efficient progress tracking of each application and data organization of documents for faster retrieval.

Marketing - Complete a full client, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (service, place, price, and promotion); Talent - Design a new/improved recruitment process; develop a diversity and inclusion strategy; design a new/improved employee engagement program.
