I really enjoyed employment with Prima Café and appreciated the opportunity to be an employee with the business. Perhaps the highlight of the job was the level of independence to be innovative—it was conceivable for me to take the initiative, develop my own projects, and be innovative in the way I interacted with customers and promoted the café. The fact that there was such freedom made the experience worthwhile and enriching. That said, I did sometimes wish I would have had an opportunity to get more of my ideas done with greater direction and support. Although I enjoyed the freedom to handle my tasks, I feel like with better coordinated collaboration we would have possibly been able to complete even greater initiatives. I sometimes struggled with receiving answers in a timely manner and it resulted in delayed schedules or decisions on occasion. Having quicker communication may have been able to get things up and running faster and make things even better. Overall, I had a positive experience and enjoyed being exposed to an energetic and innovative environment. I value the Prima Café vision and recognize there is much room for expansion. I believe the café can further develop its brand and loyalty base through greater communication and disciplined execution.
