Mexican-Inspired Foods - Growth Strategy
Saboré is a new brand Mexican-inspired foods with a healthy twist. The brand will capitalize on the growing demand for international cuisine in Canada (fueled by immigration), on the expanding wellness market, and on upcoming food labelling regulations highlighting the nutritional content of packaged foods. The brand will start with a portfolio of dipping salsas, and the goal of the project is to create a recommendation of growth avenues defining where the largest opportunities are across packaged food categories. Key tasks include: - Conducting online market research & competitive benchmark across US & Canada - Developing a growth strategy for the brand: what are the right categories to expand after salsas?, what is the size of the opportunity? what types of products should Tasty Tierra launch within the recommended categories? what are the key product elements that are needed to be differentiated in such categories? - Supporting with the online presence of the brand (social media posts, website, awareness tactics)

Financial Business Plan for Tasty Tierra
We are excited to be launching a new business, Saboré Foods - a packaged goods company manufacturing Mexican-inspired food with a healthy twist. With any launch, having a financial plan is one of the keys to success, and we would like to involve students in creating one for our new venture. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Learning about our business strategy Creating forecasts using Excel (or another financial software) for sales in the first year of operation as well as an income projection (conservative and aggressive including graphics/visuals). Develop an expense budget. Conducting a break-even analysis timeline using financial projections.

Brand Identity and Graphic Design
Our food company is looking to solidify our identity in a way that connects with Millennials and Gen Z and reflects the values the company stands for. We are looking to better connect with our audience by standing out and being memorable. We are looking for a strategic positioning, and high quality graphic designs that we will use in our product packaging and will form the identity of the brand. The right candidate should be able to seek external market trends, translate trends into consumer insights, and develop designs based on such insights.
