Work experience
Outward Bound Leader
Canadian Conservation Corps
August 2023 - April 2024
This experience is a 100% volunteer.
I’ve travelled across Canada and spent time with Canadians from all over discussing sustainability and conservation of our land, lives and cultures. I did a two week kayaking/backpacking trip with 10 other Canadians of all ages, and learnt about how to live off the land. We were trained in many safety and leadership courses.
This opportunity also comes in stages and Stage 3 (our innovation portion) ends in the Spring.
Wardrobe Stylist/service coordinator
BLU’s Women's Wear Manulife
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
March 2019 - August 2021
In the first couple years of this job, I was a full time stylist. I worked with clients mainly from the Edmonton area, but certainly some visited from out of town. Our services included personal shopping, wardrobe cleaning, events, Trunk Shows (designers come in twice a year to showcase their upcoming products.) and our clients would order pieces from the shows. I also modelled for BLU’s for a few seasons.
Following this chapter, I moved on from full time stylist to part time, and full time Service Coordinator. Where I would handle the ins & outs of BLU’s. The physical mail, the email, the product arrivals, supply orders, inventory, timesheets, Shopify orders (online store) & much more.
