Our research projects involve any of the following, dependent upon current staff at Planet Cents: Conducting comprehensive competitive market research to identify key competitors, their strengths, weaknesses, and market strategies. This analysis will help Planet Cents to refine its marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation. The goal is to equip Planet Cents with actionable intelligence that can be used to enhance its competitive edge. By focusing on competitors' product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics, the team will provide insights that can inform Planet Cents' strategic decisions. Conducting comprehensive partner research to identify the various partners, their needs and ours, and partnering potential. The goal is to equip Planet Cents with actionable intelligence that can be used to identify and gauge the viability of partnerships utilizing various criteria. Conducting comprehensive research to identify the various organizational buyers, their needs and ours, to discern our product/market fit, and direction potential. The goal is to equip Planet Cents with actionable intelligence that can be used to identify and gauge the best organizational targets consistent with our initial marketplace launch. Conducting comprehensive grant funding research based upon a specific set of criteria in order to gauge the most viable grant opportunities, and execute on those as needed. The goal of this is to generate a report of actionable opportunities for grant funding. All of our projects will require learners to apply their knowledge of market research methodologies, data analysis, critical thinking, and the ability to follow specific criteria. All projects will provide insights that can inform Planet Cents' strategic and tactical decisions.

Remote Data Research Internship/Apprenticeship
Planet Cents, Inc. is committed to promoting sustainable practices and reducing environmental impact. The company seeks to leverage data research to develop its strategy, tactics and enhance its decision-making processes. The project involves gathering and analyzing data related to consumer, competitor, organizational, and/or seller behavior, market trends, and environmental impact. The goal is to generate actionable insights that can support Planet Cents in making informed decisions to improve sustainability efforts. Learners will apply their classroom knowledge of data research and analysis and interpretation to identify patterns and trends. The project will focus on a specific aspect of Planet Cents' operations, such as product lifecycle or supply chain efficiency, to ensure a targeted approach. By completing this project, learners will contribute to Planet Cents' mission of fostering a more sustainable future. Remote Multimedia Internship/Apprenticeship
Planet Cents, Inc. seeks to enhance its digital presence by integrating various media formats into its content strategy. The overall goal of this project is to increase brand awareness and increase the number of consumers, organizations, and sellers to sign up to be a part of our sustainable products and services marketplace. Specific to multimedia, this includes creating visually engaging and interactive content. The project will involve the design and development of multimedia content, including text, graphics, and videos, tailored to different platforms such as social media, the company website, and digital newsletters. This can also include creating pitch decks targeting current and future stakeholders. The team will apply their classroom knowledge of multimedia design and digital storytelling to produce cohesive and compelling content. This project provides an opportunity for learners to explore the intersection of creativity and technology while also gaining practical experience in content creation and digital marketing strategies. Learners will also develop professional skills, some of which include: Leadership Accountability Teamwork Communication Experience working at a startup company, where a variety of skills can be acquired and practiced
