I'm the Associate Director of Workforce Development at National University where I focus on integrating workforce assets into our courses. I serve as a bridge between industry and academia with a commitment to improving the employability of our graduates.
Prior to joining NU, I served as Director of Student Success for Pearson's non-degree product portfolio and consulted with universities on outcome assessment and learning analytics. My research interests include employability and career success, learning analytics and assessment of student learning.
My experience in higher ed began at Jones International University where I was Chair of International Education. I developed internationalization strategies and managed dual degree programs with partner institutions in Latin America. I also helped launch the United Nations Development Programme’s Virtual Development Academy that developed Junior Programme Officers in the core practice areas required for leadership at UNDP.

Paralegal and Legal Research Assistance from National University Students!

National University’s Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies program prepares learners to become adept legal assistants with comprehensive training in legal research, document preparation, and case management. This Experience allows students to apply their acquired knowledge in a real-world setting, focusing on tasks such as drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and supporting legal professionals. Students in this program are skilled in legal terminology, case law, and ethical considerations, and they seek to enhance their practical skills through hands-on projects. We are looking for employers who can provide guidance and constructive feedback, and who are committed to regular communication throughout the project. Employers should be prepared to review and support the learners' work and participate in the final presentation to discuss the outcomes of the project. IMPORTANT: National University offers monthly term starts, allowing students to commence their projects approximately every 4 weeks. Most students will complete their required hours in 8-12 weeks. The university welcomes projects on a rolling basis. Once your project is accepted, we will match you with a student as soon as the next cohort becomes available.

Students will work on one main project over the course of the term, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program will study the development of planning strategies within healthcare organizations. They will conduct examinations of planning methods from needs assessment, through to program design. A heavy emphasis will be placed on strategic planning strategies.
