Website feature to upload User content
It was not clear if your project was currently open. I'm referring to what shows starting on 10/27/23. I can go into greater detail if the project is open and we would be considered. In short, we want to add a feature on our website where end users can upload an image of something they created (a meal with mushrooms), add option recipe, select a category and add optional user image/name. This would go to a gallery on our site, but could be used to push to social media. We would want to give the User the ability to push their post through their social channels as well to establish a viral impact.
Digital Marketing Intern
Four Star Mushrooms is looking for a motivated and self-sufficient Digital Marketing Intern. In this role, you will get a chance to define a B2C strategy and execute it. As a team of one, working closely with the founder and key mentors, we will lean on your knowledge and experience to launch a digital campaign to promote our product at a targeted audience that supports our retail partners. Our team will educate, guide and support you along this live learning experience. The end result is a deliverable that you own and can proudly present.Â
Gourmet Mushrooms: A Nutritional Focused Consumer Campaign
The goal of this project is to create a nutritional focused consumer campaign featuring gourmet mushrooms targeting one or more demographic personas that incorporate the Four Star Mushrooms brand and values. The target personas include vegan/vegetarian, foodie, health conscious, senior citizen, and corporate food service. The campaign should include health and dietary benefits for individual mushroom varieties (i.e. lion's mane, oyster, etc.) citing evidence based research (when possible) or noted otherwise. The content would be used on the website, social media channels (developed campaigns) and as individual product information.
Four Star Mushrooms Grocery Store Launch (INTERN: Digital Marketing)
Seeking a digital marketing intern who can develop a consumer product launch into the grocery store market in the Chicagoland area. Specific grocers are selected. This effort is to drive consumer traffic to those grocers to purchase our product. This will involve leveraging our existing digital assets to execute and to establish new digital assets/channels we have not yet utilized (i.e. You Tube, TikTok). Effort will include researching/learning the current grocery store market in the Chicagoland area and the differences with our grocer partners. Developing a marketing plan for the launch of our product on the shelves of these grocers that educates and motivates target personas to purchase our product, will rapidly lead to executing that plan and tracking the success of the launch. Conducting a simple and manageable plan that is achievable with existing resources will require a "lean" and creative approach.
Four Star Mushrooms Website and Digital Asset Assessment
The goal of this project is to review the existing website and digital assets of Four Star Mushrooms and recommend design, UI/UX, and ecommerce changes for both consumer and B2B products. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Analyzing the existing website and digital assets of Four Star Mushrooms. - Identifying areas for improvement in the design, UI/UX, and ecommerce aspects of the website. - Researching best practices for website design, UI/UX, and ecommerce for both consumer and B2B products. Aligning digital assets to support physical strategies (i.e. events, partnerships, etc.) Coordinate digital assets to work together Ensure digital assets convey desired brand image Drive audience to intended action (i.e. consumers purchase at retailers, Door Dash order or patronage at client restaurants) - Developing a plan for implementing the recommended changes.

The main goal of this project is to create a comprehensive B2B branding strategy and go-to-market plan for Four Star Mushrooms. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching the current B2B market and Four Star Mushrooms' current position in it. - Developing a comprehensive branding strategy that includes a unique value proposition, target audience, and messaging. - Creating a go-to-market plan that outlines the steps needed to launch the new branding strategy. - Developing a marketing plan that outlines the tactics and channels needed to reach the target audience. - Creating an estimated or approximate budget and timeline for the project.
