With whom should we partner on manufacturing, kitting, packaging, warehousing, and fulfillment? How complex is that and how much will it cost, realistically? 3. Who are our closest competitors and how do we differentiate ourselves? 4. How do we establish our brand: Build awareness, acquire customers, and defend any early success? We are looking to gain alternative perspectives on potential marketing tactics and better understand the current competitive market.

Our organization is a short term rental cottage operation in Gracefield Quebec Canada. We want to increase awareness about our cottages as a destination for fishermen. We would like to collaborate with students to create an awareness video. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our destination, our mission and goals. Recording a video to raise awareness on the issue. We would like to work with students to update the existing website with a reservation and booking tool that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. Building the tool into our existing website, with our assistance in providing the necessary information to fulfill the project Testing and refining ideas with feedback. In this project, we hope to work with students to gain insight into customer experience and how to use marketing campaigns to target them. R&B Retreats (www.rbrtreats.com) is a family start up operating within the tourism space. We own 4 cottages in Gracefield, Quebec, on a property formerly used by a fishing/hunting outfitter. Using this history we are transforming the space into an attractive, modern tourist destination with a focus on anglers (fishermen/women). The student's recommendations will help us enhance and refocus our marketing efforts by being able to identify our customer's needs, reach them most effectively, and address any pain points they face. Students will research this market segment's behavior through sales trends of various companies, analyze the data and provide recommendations for how to move forward. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Analyzing market data to define customer needs. Choosing appropriate metrics to examine the data, and analyzing it using data analysis tools if available to them. Creating a report with all findings from analysis conducted, including recommendations for next steps.

R&B Retreats est une société à responsabilité limitée basée à Ottawa, ON.
