Brand Identity and Graphic Design

Our organization needs some rebranding, renaming and graphic design help! We are looking for teams that can help amplify what makes us unique, create better messaging for our brand and properly communicate who we are! This would include identifying areas of improvement and developing a plan for better promotion and brand awareness. The organization was established in 1946 when Encampment for Citizenship had a particular context and meaning. Today this name is often misunderstood so the challenge is to keep the original spirit and, if possible, the original acronym EFC but come up with words other than “encampment or citizenship.”

Fundraising via Grant Writing

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement. We believe this project will include: Identify potential grants, sponsors and funding opportunities that match the goals and priorities of the EFC’s organization as a whole and for our environmental justice project and accept unsolicited proposals (this could include corporate foundations and banks). Research requests for proposal (RFP) for match with EFC. Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding for each potential grant. Write a draft proposal for each match. Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of EFC’s grant proposal writing.

Social Media Strategist

We are looking for students who would help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow our donor base. They would provide assistance on how we can maximize use of different social media channels and recommendations on how to reach individuals and organizations beyond our existing base.

Youth Leaders Recruitment Optimization

To develop an overall youth recruitment strategy for participation in our summer program that goes beyond our existing recruitment base (organizations and individuals).
