React app Overhaul
Our company would like to overhaul an existing React web app. This app is a practice test for the G1 knowledge test. The current app is functioning but needs improvement and debugging. This will involve: Conducting background research on existing web applications for the product. We are happy to provide a walkthrough and other resources to help bring them up to speed. Coding in React, JavaScript, Typescript. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use React, JavaScript, Typescript, and Visual Studio as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of an app which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendly Conducting testing with real potential users or selenium.
Website Development Conversion - HTML To WordPress
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through common site building tools such as WordPress. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. CONVERTING EXISTING website to WORDPRESS , with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

As we expand and hire new drivers, we need to be able to take our customers opinions into consideration and improve as we grow. Hence, we’d like students to help analyze our google review datasets to draw helpful insights. From this analysis, we hope to not only improve our processes and understanding but also gain insights that will enhance our strategy. These insights will be directly related to business outcomes.

Our company has been serving thousands of customers. As we expand, it has become challenging to keep up with all the new customers and assigning to different instructors. We want to build a scheduling system that would make the scheduling process more convenient and flexible for customers and easy for us. We would like to collaborate with students to develop a scheduling system. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s target market, products and services. Researching scheduling software options and their features. Selecting the best technologies for our appointment scheduling and recommending plans for implementation. Recommending new features to include in our appointment scheduling system. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending improvements to our internal scheduling system.

Creating Graphic Design Assets (Images of Traffic Signs/ Regulations)
Our company is creating a web app for the G1 test that will require images of traffic signs and regulations for each question (200+). We are looking to have these designs be high quality and match the theme of our web app which is still in the making. This may involve: Creating new images aligned with our existing branding including fonts, colors, logo usage and imagery to be used. Meeting with the project manager to evaluate the choices made for the branding book to ensure it is aligned with company branding goals, and making any necessary revisions. Designing and presenting images for design assets as outlined by the project manager. Creating multiple images with different color schemes based on the colors in the branding guide.

Our company would like to design a web app with a prototype. We are always on the lookout for innovative and fresh UI and UX ideas that will help our users.
