Content Marketing Strategy: Social Media
We work with a wide audience, from brands and retailers, to everyday Canadian consumers and activists. We not only work in a large country with widely different realities depending on location, we also work in both official languages. As the Communications Specialist, I joined the team about 4 months ago and have started building a communications plan and social media strategy. It would be great to get the students' insights on what we have been doing that has been or hasn't been working and how we can focus our message to increase engagement and visibility. We don't just want to focus on Fairtrade products that are available in Canada, but also share the impact of Fairtrade on producers and workers in the Global South and the environment. Students will provide their recommendations live, during the interactive, in-class session October 14th. Notes from the working session will be shared with the participating company.
